It is heartbreaking to hear of constant killings in Nigeria, and we all desire an end to terrorism. However, Primate Ayodele insists that relying on America’s military without fixing internal failures will only deepen Nigeria’s security and sovereignty challenges.

A Prophetic Warning on Nigeria–America Military Partnership

I, Primate Ayodele, have spoken before, and I will speak again. I once said that Donald Trump would come to Nigeria with his military to fight terrorists. Which it occurred during the first attack and now, they are been deployed fully with the partnership.

Nigeria is celebrating that America has come to “save” them. They believe the United States will help them kill terrorists, destroy insurgents, and bring peace. Yes, they will fight. Yes, they will kill terrorists. But hear this clearly: this is a bad partnership, sincerely, a bad relationship.

Some people will say, “This man never sees good things. He only talks about the bad.” But as a prophet, my duty is not to excite you; it is to warn you. I am to see both the good and the bad, and to speak the truth as it is shown to me. And the truth is always bitter.

Let me ask a simple question:
Will the Nigerian military go to America to help them fight their own problems? Would they not handle it themselves? Are we not also supposed to handle our own security ourselves?

Nigeria will regret this relationship with America, because many things will come with it, things not spoken about openly. America knows what it wants. They are only telling the Nigerian government what it wants to hear.

The jihadists are everywhere in Africa. The more you kill them, the more they spring up. Why? Because the root has not been addressed. They are fighting the surface, not the source. Until the foundation of this evil is dealt with, spiritually, economically, and politically, this war will not truly end.

The government should not be too relaxed or overjoyed by third-party military interference. Foreign help is not always free help. There is always a price.

That said, we hope and we pray that terrorism will end, because it is heartbreaking to hear of these constant killings, killings that are also coming from within. Nigeria must look inward, not just outward.

I say it again: this partnership will bring consequences.
Time will reveal everything.
