Commending the Military Leadership and Our Heroic Soldiers: Primate Ayodele’s Prophetic Call for Justice and National Responsibility

I, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, as a servant of the Most High and spiritual custodian of this nation’s destiny, deem it necessary to publicly commend the current military leadership and every gallant Nigerian soldier across all divisions and commands. In times like this, silence is dangerous, and truth must be spoken without fear or favor.

I commend the exceptional leadership of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Emmanuel Oluyede, and the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa, for their strategic command, visible progress, and unwavering resilience in the fight against terrorism and insecurity. Under their guidance, the Nigerian military has witnessed a renewed spirit, sharper focus, and decisive action against insurgent elements.

But beyond the offices and command rooms, I also raise my voice to commend every Nigerian soldier, men and women of valor, from the infantry to intelligence, logistics to special forces, army to navy to air force, who daily put their lives on the line for the peace of this nation. Many of these brave patriots serve in remote regions, far from their families, enduring harsh conditions without adequate recognition.

TO OUR SOLDIERS: NIGERIA HONORS YOU

To our soldiers: You are the true heroes of this nation. Your sacrifices are not in vain. God sees you. The nation sees you. The spiritual realm acknowledges your blood, sweat, and courage.

You stand in trenches and deserts while others sleep in comfort. You go where others fear. You fight so we can live. We owe you more than just words, we owe you justice, respect, and reward.

TO THE GOVERNMENT: DO NOT USE AND ABANDON OUR HEROES

This is a prophetic plea and a national warning: The government must not abandon or overuse our soldiers. Many of them have served years without rotation. Some have not seen their families in months or even years. Others suffer quietly from trauma, physical injuries, and emotional fatigue.

I call on the Federal Government, the Ministry of Defence, and all relevant authorities to:

Regularly rotate troops so they can reconnect with their families and recover emotionally.

Restructure deployment cycles to avoid burnout.

Treat all military personnel fairly, ensure they are paid promptly, settled justly, and provided with modern equipment, accommodation, and proper mental health support.

Honor their service, both in life and in death, with dignity.

Let no soldier return from war to face poverty. Let no widow of a hero cry for benefits. We must care for those who care for us.

THE ENEMY WITHIN: TRUTH NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR

As I’ve said before and I will not be silent, the real origin and sponsors of Boko Haram lie within our own borders. Many are from the North. Some are within the government and political system. These individuals, out of greed and lust for power, have funded terror to destabilize the nation.

What is happening is no longer just terrorism, it is a calculated attempt to frustrate the current government and undermine the peace of this nation. But I declare by the Spirit of God: Their time is up.

A PROPHETIC ASSURANCE

God is not silent. The end of this evil is near. The days of insurgency are numbered. Those who built altars of blood will fall by their own swords. Nigeria will survive this storm and rise stronger.

To Gen. Oluyede and Gen. Musa, you are fulfilling your mandate with grace. Keep going. You are not alone.

To every soldier, the Lord of Hosts is your rear guard. Your reward shall come.

To the government, you must act justly, or you will answer to heaven.

To the people, pray without ceasing, support the truth, and unite for the nation’s peace.

May God bless Nigeria.
May God bless our armed forces.
May justice flow like a river across this land.

In divine obedience and national responsibility,
Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele
