I have watched and observed closely the political movements in Delta State, and I feel compelled to speak. There are decisions being contemplated by some political aspirants that, if taken without wisdom, will lead to disappointment, waste, and frustration.
Ndudi Godwin Elumelu, hear this: if you go into this election the way you are now, you will lose. You will waste your money. You will waste your strength and energy. You will struggle unnecessarily. Your people are not fully with you. The love and support of your constituents are not yet secured in your favor.
The person occupying the position now still commands more loyalty from the people than you do. Popularity alone cannot carry a candidate to victory. Ambition without preparation, without reconciliation, without genuine service, will fail.
You must appeal to God Almighty. Without divine favor, human effort alone will not suffice. Your path must be paved with humility, service, and care for your people. You must do good consistently, and repair what has been broken in the hearts of those you seek to serve.
I tell you plainly: pride and impatience in politics are dangerous. Walk in wisdom. Consult God. Serve your people sincerely. Anything less is a guaranteed path to disappointment.
Let this message be a mirror. Let it prompt reflection. Let it guide your next steps. For those who ignore the signs, regret will be your companion.
